RCC Design :
We design RCC framed structures for Commercial, Residential purposes using the latest Analysis Software & design the members as per the latest Indian Standard code of practices using our in house design tools and prepare the Structural drawings based on the design. Seismic Analysis & Design is done for all Structures. We design all types of foundations like Pile, Raft, Combined, Strip and Independent foundations as per the Soil conditions and site constraints. Machine foundations for dynamic loads, Steel Induction Furnace foundations, Continuous Caster Machine foundations, Steel Rolling Mill foundations for many Steel factories have also been done by us. We have also designed foundations for PEB (Pre Engineered Buildings) structures. We design large span slabs for Examination hall, lecture halls in Medical / Engineering colleges with waffle slab / Grid beams and RCC / PT Flat slabs for IT / Commercial buildings, shear walls in combination with RCC Columns for multi storied Commercial / Residential buildings.
RCC Cantilever, Propped cantilever, laterally supported Retaining walls & Diaphragm walls, RCC Chimneys, foundations for Steel Chimneys, Chiller and Cooling Tower foundations are also designed by us. RCC sumps of capacity 500 cum (5,00,000 liters), Sewage Treatment & Effluent Treatment Plants have been designed by us.
Steel Design :
Structural Steel framed structures for Commercial buildings like Restaurants, Food courts, Shops etc., Industrial Buildings for Reinforcement / Structural Steel production factories with Furnace Shed, Continuous Caster shed, Rolling Mill, Storage sheds with rolled steel sections for heights more than 25 m has been designed. Steel Gantry Girders for EOT cranes of spans 30 m and lifting capacity of 80 MT has been done by us. Mezzanine floors for various loads have been designed with Chequered plate / decking sheet & RCC slab by us. Conveyor supporting structures with RCC / Steel trestles and Lattice trusses for both open conveyors, pipe conveyors have been designed by us. Circular storage structures have been designed for Cement Plants. We have also designed Composite sections with cold rolled sections and concrete slab with decking sheets. We generally follow Indian Standard code of Practices; however, we do follow British & American codes for specific requirements.
Retrofitting Consultancy :
Once we find that there are some structural deficiencies in the existing structures, we suggest and submit proper retrofitting / strengthening of the structure with economical strengthening methods. We use advanced technologies like Carbon wrapping, Glass fiber wrapping for RCC columns / beams wherever required to enhance the strength of the same. Apart from the above we inspect old buildings and furnish report on the structural condition of the structure, possible causes of damages and suggest most appropriate method to rectify the deficiencies / damages in both RCC & Steel structures.
Peer View & Value Engineering :
We do structural proof checking of existing structures with available structural drawings and furnish report on the safety & stability of the structure for different type of loads & load combinations. Apart from the above, for new buildings, we do check the Analysis model & Design of Structures designed by other Structural designers and we furnish reports on the deficiencies, if any, based on our model. Further, we suggest possible reduction in the Concrete & Reinforcement Steel quantities by adopting appropriate economical designs.
Renovation :
Jays civil tec deisgn are experts in Structural Design in particular renovations and additions to existing structures. Our projects include a wide variety of structures, from multi-unit mixed use facilities and private residences, to houses of worship.
Renovations often include the strengthening and/or relocation of structural elements due to modified building plans and increased loading requirements due to increased occupancy, upgraded mechanical equipment and increased storage requirements.
Construction methods & Technologies :
We take up design of temporary structures required to assist in construction works like Sheet Piling, Contiguous Piling, Shoring, shuttering schemes for Columns, Beams & Slabs. We design strong backs for heavy lifting, supporting system for heavy machinery / equipment movement based on the site requirement. Tower Crane foundations, Batching Plant foundations, Tower crane Tie beam designs are also done by us for any type of equipment & soil conditions.
